After quite a few weather related cancellations this year, we finally managed to schedule a last-minute sunset paddle on a beautiful summer evening. After a nice lakeside picnic, we canoed out and explored some of the narrower parts of Nockamixon Lake. We paddled through a maze of lily pads, and enjoyed spotting quite a few birds and native plants including Cardinal Flower, Joe-Pye Weed and Lizard Tail. Thank you Steve Malarsky and Betsy Wilson for documenting in pictures the enjoyable evening on the lake!
