This group is a local chapter of the national WCHA. We meet at least once a month to learn about wooden canoes and canoeing, or to enjoy time on the water. Membership in the national WCHA is suggested, but not required. Most members own wooden canoes of some sort, but an interest in them is all that is necessary to fit in with the group. We encourage participation of families in our activities, and collect $15.00 from each family per calendar year to cover the cost of keeping members informed through newsletters and this website.
