Building a Birchbark Canoe
Our new friend Robin Moore shared his experience building a birchbark
canoe up in Canada. He brought the canoe as well as some raw materials such as birchbark rolls, cedar wood, jack pine roots,
etc. and some scale models of various tribal styles of canoes. He told a fascinating story of his experience which led to a lively discussion followed by a delicious potluck supper.
