Pine Barrens Paddle and Picnic

A beautiful crisp September morning was the perfect weather for a paddle on Oswego Lake in the Pine Barrens. An assortment of people, canoes and kayaks launched into the lake and navigated under a low bridge to explore a side pond. Then across the lake in search of the Oswego River, which we could paddle up quite a ways and enjoy the beautiful scenery and quiet of the pine forest.

After paddling we headed to Jennifer and Ed’s home for a socially-distant outdoor picnic. Good times with good friends, as always!
