Beltzville Lake in July

We had planned a trip on the Delaware River, but after a few days of heavy rains, the decision was made last-minute to switch gears and drive 45 minutes back to Beltzville Lake. Steve Malarsky had told us in June that the rhododendrons that surrounded much of the lake would be in bloom mid-July, so back we went to check them out, and we were not dissapointed! We paddled a different route than the month before, and stopped at a beautiful hillside clearing for a picnic lunch.
